Share the fascinating stories about those who have brought to Detroit the unvarnished excitement unique to Tiger baseball. This description may be from another edition of this product.
A very well written and interesting book. My complaint is that there are a few errors in it. The Tigers did not play their first interleague game against Arizona. The riot did not start on Saturday July 23, 1967 but Sunday July 23, 1967. Also the Tigers did not lose 10-1 to St. Louis when Jose Feliciano sang the Star Spangled Banner they won 4-1. Other than that I had a hard time putting the book down.
For every Tiger fan.

The photos, the stories and the attention to detail about the history of the park and the players make this above all the best book on the Detroit Tigers. It feels like owning a piece of Tiger Stadium.
