A True Inspiration

Thursday's Child was sent via me to my son, who is a son of one of the main characters in this newest Rose Weite book. I couldn't resist opening the book to take a peek; then I couldn't put it down unitl I finished the last word.I personally knew many of the characters that people this book, and have heard storis of many others. I've always known what a remarkable woman Rose Weite is - both for what she accomplished in her own life, and also for the ways she trys to help others, both in her own family, and outside of it.Vivid descriptions bring her homeplace and pitiful childhood to life. Her rise from poverty sets a real life example that it can be done.I plan to purchase more copies of this book to give to my grandsons; both, so they know their roots, and to illustrate to them that you don't have to accept, or settle for, the place in life that you are handed; you must strive to overcome adversity in whatever form it comes and be the best you can be. Thursday's Child is a true inspiration.
