Wonderful characters

A historical novel setting the tone of the time in regards to revolutionary war and the event leading up to it. It is written for the period, and it does not fit today's standards of political correctness. However, the characters are believable and endearing. I have never felt as connected to the main characters as I have here. I hartily recommend this book.
