What a classic! This has been an excellent read aloud as I've studied the book of Proverbs with my kids. Each story has the Proverbs chapter and verse that the character trait or lesson is tied to. My kids can relate to these stories. They serve as an excellent tool for seeing how to apply the Proverbs to their own lives. My 4 year olds love it as well as higher elementary ages. Another equally excellent book and very similar in format is "Wisdom and the Millers"
