Thomas fans

My son is a huge fan of all this thomas but he loves the simple repeating of this story.

Our 2 and 4 year old LOVE this book!

Our 2 yr old and 4 yr old can't get enough of this book. The rhyming makes it fun, but of course, little boys are attracted to messes, so three big messes in this book made this one fun and funny for our little ones.

Thomas and Friends: Trains, Cranes and Troublessome Trucks

My 2 year old grandson wants someone to read this and other "Thomas" books to him on a daily basis. He is a great listener and enjoys the story as well as the pictures.

Crashes, baths, and more

We just got this book, and already the children (2 and almost 4) are carrying it around the house everywhere. We have just become a big Thomas family, and this book is a hit. The plot is simple: small Thomas, medium James and large Gordon all have to pull loads using the Troublesome Trucks. Each one gets knocked off the track by the Trucks; each has to get saved by an appropriately-sized crane. Thomas gets covered in coal dust, James in milk, and Gordon in grape jam. Finally, all 3 get washed down and head back to the sheds for the night. Nice rhyming. Demonstrates small, medium and large. Supports the idea of bathtime nicely! The only downside a parent might find is that nothing apparently happens to the Troublesome Trucks for causing the crashes, other than they look sad once they, too, are off the tracks. If my kids ever bring up the point that the Trucks "got away with it" I'll just tell them that Sir Topham Hatt gave them a timeout off-camera. :)
