This Perfect Stranger

All I can add is that no one can put this story down! And believe it or not the cover matches the story [wouold definitely like to know who the model is] -- especially our hero! Cain MacCallister and Maggie Cortland MacCallister really tugged at the heartstrings - And I love Ms Ankrum giving us a lady that can love strongly enough to let go and still hope for a future and faith enough to let it work out.. [although - grin - I don't know how a gelding can become a stallion - except in words]I must join the others in saying this is a keeper and recommend it highly.

...passion...suspense...emotion... It's a book that seriously tugged my heartstrings and reminded me why I read romance in the first place. I never thought I could fall for a hero who rides a motorcycle -- but boy, was I wrong!

A number of romances have recently centered around men who spent time in prison, but Ankrum boldly creates a hero who justifiably served time for a crime of passion before his sentence was forgiven. Such strong characterization daringly separates THIS PERFECT STRANGER from the competition. Further, this heroine is no shrinking violent, taking on dangerous men and a hurtful past as she uncovers the truth behind the threats and her husband's death. A strongly plotted, memorable read, THIS PERFECT STRANGER comes very highly recommended.

I always read Ms. Ankrum's books, she's an amazing story teller. She always makes me feel like I know her characters. In A Pefect Stranger, it's no differant. She gives us a dark hero and a loving heroine who have to work through their seperate issues together. Very romantic and tugged my heartstrings. This is a great read, very emotional. I recommend it highly.
