Page turner with a purpose

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I actually read it from my library and then ordered it immediately after I finished it. It has important themes (ie racism, police brutality) and it’s just totally engrossing - like a Mission Impossible story yet much more realistic. The only thing I didn’t like about this story is it swears quite a bit more than I’ll typically tolerate in a book. It says all of them, multiple times. Except maybe not taking the Lord’s name in vain. The swearing is actually why I bought it. So I can edit it and then whole heartedly recommend it and loan my copy to friends. I recommend it for people 13+ who don’t mind swearing.
