Honestly, I really have never listened to "Music and the Spoken Word" but by the looks of this book it has to be as inspiring as everyone says it is. Besides that, this is just a handy book to have on hand for all those random lessons and talks and the like. It's organized by subject, and the stories and thoughts are brief and beautiful.
