5-STAR Read for Jr. High Students!

This is a GREAT BOOK of interesting TWISTS and TURNS! Taffeta is a popular Jr. High girl that gets her way and rules the school by talking behind backs and saying rude things. Opposite is Ernestine who is not a popular girl with two good friends. She works and studies hard for homework, tests and gets good grades. However, LIFE can turn things upside down!! I HIGHLY recomend this book! Kimi

Things Are Gonna Get Ugly

This is a great book! I love Hillary's style of writing, it brings you in and makes you apart of the story. It really brought me back to middle school and high school and made me so glad I'm not there any more. This book has a great message while at the same time funny and entertaining. The message is: if you're lucky enough to be popular and beautiful, you should always be kind and respectful to others. And if you're not popular and beautiful be happy with who you are. Life can change on a dime. Rachel Heskett Children's Author and Illustrator

AMESOME

OMG! I really loved this book. It was totally funny and I love all the characters because they really kinda spoke like me. I am eighth grade. I have a "Taffata"in my homeroom class. she is a total jerk but now I think differently about her because of the ending of this book. It's not cool to judge the outside of a person just because they look different or they might be fat or even sort of ugly. I'm tired of magazines telling me how I must look. I like that the book does not do this. I'd recommend it to everybody. It had me ROTF!
