Thicker Than Water

This book is not predictable. Priscilla who moved from Kansas and sold her farm has a surprise visit from Long Time friend Kitty Merrick. Kitty's aunt Katherine lived with Caroline Waterman as her maid. Kitty goes to see Aunt Katherine but Caroline's maid says that Katherine died 2 1/2 years ago. But Kitty has kept getting letters from Aunt Katherine. Caroline admits to writing them but no one can see Caroline except her maid. Kitty is being followed by Roland Cavanaugh the Fourth and Caroline's nephew Malcolm Waterman. Both seem to think that Kitty has some documentation that they want. Both get upset when Caroline decides to sell her prime real estate and want to see her, but she will see no one, she refers them even family to her lawyer.This is a great read, mystery spins off mystery. I never knew what would happen next.
