These stories are hilarious, I grew up with an audio recording of these tales, and it was a must for every road trip. These stories are the only way to keep 6 children quiet for several hours in a tiny car. I hope that this becomes available both in print and the book on Cd or tape, all my siblings are adults now and we still quote from these tales. Like the man who uses his golden goose to become rich. He says (in a thick cockney accent if the reader can pull it off: "I don't like work, it makes me tired, see?" I highly recommend this to anyone who can find it. I will keep searching.
