Boone’s forced vacation brings him to Deep Haven for a few weeks (he really doesn’t want to even be there) and by serendipity and he and Vivien end up in a parade in his red mustang! Wow! He hardly knew what hit him! A detective and an actress, an unlikely pair but maybe not.
Vivien is such a fun character, so much so that Boone can’t resist her ‘happy’ persona. But he begins to see that she is hiding her real self behind her bubbly personality. Vivien’s play ‘Then came you’ is the centerpiece for this story. And a lot is going on here!
These wonderful characters have such an adventure, there’s drama, mystery, stalking, disasters, role playing and serious life choices all happening over just a few weeks.
It is the story of lessons learned about the expectations of others and those we place on ourselves.
I recommend you read it and discover the fun and some great truths.
