Odd, beautiful work. Loved every second

As someone with a thing for wolves, I was intrigued when I found my first copy of this book at our local used book store. I'd never heard of it, but the moment I started it I knew I was in for something different, and something good. Lakin is a Christian, and in this book that comes through in a perfectly beautiful way. It's not obvious always, but it is always there, always an undertone, and that is a comforting thing about this book for all its strange twists and turns.
