Great book! Programmers will love this

This is a great book, full of puns that programmers or IT people will understand and enjoy. Wiz applies his programming knowledge to magic and the results are pretty hilarious!

A fun and fantastic book!

This is the fourth book is a series, following Wizard's Bane, Wizardry Compiled and the Wizardry Cursed. In this book, former hacker, and now wizard extraordinaire, Walter "Wiz" Zumwalt finds himself spirited away by a mighty dragon, and ordered to solve the problem between humans and dragons. Against his will, and against his better judgment, Wiz realizes that he needs to become a consultant. And so, with a store of buzzwords and knowledge of using misleading visual aids, Wiz sets out to find a way to reorganize the human-dragon organization! This book is another example of Rick Cook's wonderful talent. Where Wizardry Cursed was somewhat dark and suspenseful, this book is light-hearted and humorous (think Dilbert thrust into the Lord of the Rings)! This is a fun and fantastic book, one that I highly recommend!

Different from the others, very enjoyable.

I found the book different from the first 3 books. I still liked it because it added new characters, and revisited old ones. The plot was good, as was the writing.

Acceptable addition to the Wizardry series

If you really enjoy the Wizardry series, then this is a very good read. However, it is not as exciting as the first 3 books in the series. The characters are still interesting, but the energy and suspense were not quite there. There was some nice poliltical satire, but it seemed a little tired
