I love this book!

This is the best book I've found on the Willamette River. The author takes you from the headwaters all the way down. After reading this book I feel almost like I've traveled the river myself. He discusses the history of the river and its headwaters, plant life, wildlife, paddling hazards, paddling trips, locations to put in and pull out your canoe/kayak and points of interest along the way. The author is knowledgeable, passionate, a skilled paddler, and a local. If you're not already excited about the Willamette River, this book will get you there!
