Book 11

"The Wiccan" is Book 11 in the Forbidden Doors Series. It is a teen Christian fiction series. (Background info: Becka and Scott Williams, along with their mother, move to Crescent Bay, California after having spent many years in the jungles of South America. Their dad flew missionaries into South America and his plane went down. Becka and Scott are going to school in California and making friends. This loving and awesome Christian family has a cozy and warm home atmosphere.) Becka and Scott have a Christian friend named Z on the internet. In previous books, Z sent Becka and Scott on various trips for Christian combat against evil or darkness. They went to Louisiana (voodoo), Transylvania (vampires), Los Angeles (worshipping the enemy/being full of hate), and New Mexico (ancient legends). (In Books 1 through 6, they did not go anywhere, but combatted evil right here in Crescent Bay.) Now, in Book 11, they are combatting evil in Crescent Bay again. (It looks like no more trips.) The evil they are combatting in this book is wicca. A schoolmate, Laura, wants to turn to wicca to put a spell on a lady she thinks is having an affair with her father. Laura is influenced by wicca because of Sarina Fox, a wicca show host. Sarina comes to Crescent Bay. Scott and Becka are directed by Z to help Laura. They have a challenge on their hands. Will Scott and Becka, with Z's help, be able to combat the wicca? I noticed an interesting flaw in this book, but it was not enough to take away a star. On pages 36 and 37, it says Sarina has jet-black hair (when in Crescent Bay before an audience and the local tv is taping her). Then on page 44, it says she has blonde hair (during the same tv taping). I am really enjoying this series. It is encouraging. It is a teen series, but anyone can get encouragement from it. I've gotten my share of encouragement and enlightenment from it. Bible scriptures are used for backup. The cozy family (Mom, Becka, and Scott) is a wonderful example. This series is awesome. This book stayed in Crescent Bay, so there was no out-of-town adventure like the last four books had. I did kind of miss that. But one thing I do miss when they go on adventures, is Susan (their youth leader) and her husband. They are small, minor characters, but even though they don't have big parts, their small parts are very encouraging. Even though Susan is a very minor character in the series, she is very encouraging and I love her. I kind of wish she and her husband were more major characters in the series. This book is awesome and encouraging.

Great Series, suggest it to others

The school library had all of this series except for the last two books. So I purchased them to donate. It seems as though lots of kids are reading them and enjoying looking forward to the next in the series.

The Wiccan

I think contrary 2 the other person that his book was great! It deals with some strange people yes, who seem not 2 sure about what they believe. But why would that make his book less awsome? I personaly have told all of my friends about his book series and they are going 2 buy them as weel. He deals with all diferent kinds of issues that need 2 be disscused. The books he writes are very informitive about other people`s believes. Dispite all other reviews who say opposite,... I know 4 a fact that his books R O C K !!!!!!!!!!
