I wasn't sure what to expect regarding a 'western' but this one hit it out of the park. Very good read. Interesting character (based on true story). Fascinating life. I wish there were more history books on Charlotte "Charley" Parkhurst. For the author's first novel, she did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend.
