I Miss Tony Hillerman and Leaphorn

Sorry, but I find the relationship between Chee and Manuelito soppy as a Harlequin romance, and I dislike the portrayal of Manuelito in this book fully as much as I have in previous books. Although Anne appears to have happily hijacked her father's beloved characters, it seems she just isn't up to his standard of writing.

As always the author combines Native American lore with a good mystery. Very good continuation of the Leaphorn, Chee & Manuelito series. Beautiful location.
