I got saved in the 70's at Calvery Chapel, Costa Mesa California and all my friends had this bible. Its easy to read and understand, so I've had several though out the years. Now, at 60, I still have one.

In 1973 our family got this Bible from friends of ours for Christmas. I read this Bible every day. I have my KJV also, and compare them sometimes, but this Bible is so very easy to understand and that is why I use it most. It is in the language that we speak so that is why it is easier to understand and makes for easier reading. I got one for each of my children, with the hopes that they will read the Bible more often.

When I was a pre-teen, back in the 1970's this was a very popular bible. Some called it the living bible. The translations are so very easy for the young person or any person to understand. It helps you understand what living for God is all about. This bible promises to bring the reader into a close relationship with God and a much better understanding of the bible. I also would love to see it in print again and on the store shelves in ,like say , even Walmarts for a great many to enjoy.

I would love to see this bible republished and in circulation again. This bible is a blessing, indeed, and helps guide many people in life. I think it is especially helpful for teenagers, as well as for adults. Its easy to read and directs you to various subjects, and is a helpful map to living.

This was THE Bible during the Jesus Revolution of the 1970's. Easy to read and with pictures. A very appealing Bible for the flower child back then. One of the first Bible's I became familiar with as a kid. Even today it is still a very readable Bible.

This is my favorite version of the Bible to read! It gives a clear translation when I have trouble understanding verses! The pictures are a little, shall we say, out of date (this Bible was made in the 70's...), but the important part of it is awesome!
