The Wave 4 Way to Building Your Downline

This book can creat an inspiration for any one who need motivation for doing works such as MLM network marketing. Many stories are taken by several books such as "Thick Face, Black Heart", etc. In fact, the author should focus on how to sponsor downline via internet or other media in details otherwise it's just a simple motivation book. All in all, any newcomer in network marketing can understand more about leaderships art, can read this book for self-help motivation.

Richard Poe is without a doubt the most prolific, captivating and widely published author in network marketing history. His classic article, "Network Marketinng: The Most Powerful Way to Reach Consumers in the 90's", May 1990, literally opened the floodgates for network marketing articles and the wave of excitement for network marketing which has carried over to the new millenium.The book is split up into 3 parts and 19 chapters. What I found particularly interesting was part two: The 7 Traits of an MLM leader in which Poe starts off in chapter 6 discussing what makes a leader. He then goes on in detail the 7 traits which are1) Drive2) Persistence3) Teachability4) Thick Skin5) Positive Attitude6) Compassion7) VisionPoe draws from the wisdom of Xenophon, Napoleon, Sun Tzu and other historic leaders and instructs the ambitious networker in the timeless art of leading others. He desribes the network ma rketer as a freedom fighter, a leader, a business leader, an entrepreneur.Poe is almost Reagan-like in saying that we cannot depend on the government to take of us, we need to take care of ourselves and he goes on to explain why network marketing may be the best vehicle to do that. I highly recommend this book in addition to Wave 4 and Mark Yarnells excellent book, Your First Year in Network Marketing.

If you are in MLM or want to be, this book and WAVE 4 are must reads. My downline has been exploding since I started adding these books to their starter packages.

This book is well written and one of those that you will want to read over and over. There are so many good ideas in here that you will need to take notes to review. His writing style is very readable and understandable. A definite recommendation!

Just got done reading this my second book by Mr. Poe. I must say he writes extremely well for this industry even though as he says, "I am not a Network Marketer". Mr. Poe was a very sucessful writer for "SUCCESS" Magazine who has moved out on his own and covers our industry most excellently. This is the Book I was personally looking for even though I wasn't sure what I wanted from reading Network Marketing and Motivational books. This book will instruct you in clearcut ways on how to be a Leader in your industry and where to make your next step as a Network Marketer. But even better yet it will instruct you on your own personal motivation and how to pass that on to your Team ! I am now going to buy 3 copies for some of the best leaders in My Network Marketing downline and expect my business to explode because of it! Thanks Mr. Poe for your insightful look at our industry !
