Best Ever!!

I have had this book since Autumn 1997 and to this day it remains one of my favorite reads. No matter how many times you read this book it never gets old and it has great characters that help make the plot both entertaining and enjoyable. Enjoy!!!!!

dutiful niece and charming rogue clash and fall......

in love in this lovely Harlequin Historical. The story is about Clara, whose eccentric guardians ways always make her err on the side of caution and propriety , and Paris, a handsome devil may care rogue who hires Claras aunt to paint his portrait. But does this wastrels nonchalance hide a sadder secret? Clara and her family go stay at the lords country estate while the portraits is being painted and the well written battle of wills and comedy of errors that ensues makes for a quite enjoyable read. One of the better Harlequin Historicals out there and one I heartily recommend. 4.5 stars!

book description

Clara Wells's eccentric family drew enough sidelong glances and she could do without the attentions of London's most notorious rake. But the sinfully charming Lord Mulholland was renowned for getting whatever, or whomever, he desired... Paris Mulholland had long guarded his heart with a string of elegant, casual conquests, yet Clara's defiant pride enticed him in a way no coy flirtation ever had, and the prim and proper miss was proving a most engaging opponent in the war of the sexes...

Teriffic book for readers of Margaret Moore's

Wonderful book with all of the Quality you might expect from Margaret Moore. The first book in her new series, Most Unsuitable... If you like to see the "misfits" overcome their obstacles and get together then this is a must read. A rake of a lord and a disowned granddaughter of a Duke are the "misfits" in this book. You can almost see from the start that they're meant to be together. I loved the book for just these reasons
