Better Speech

This is a very good book to help you be a better speaker. I use this book to help train Gospel Preachers to be good speakers in their preaching of God's Word. I highly recommend this book to you, it will help you speak good if you follow the directions and do the assignments in the book. Milton Mathers

Voice improvement book

As a speech coach I really like this book to give to my clients for basic speech improvements. The best features of the book are it's easy-to-read layout, the "12 minute vocal workout" and the audio CD. The drawbacks are that the CD has only short models to imitate for practice and the book does not reference the CD sections clearly.

Very Good Pronouncing Word Book!

This a very good pronouncing word book that makes you realize how to make your words powerful. You use the information first in the book and then you go to the 30 something minute cassette tape to hear examples of people you immediately recognize as the wrong way voice communicators. I learnt a lot from this book and I enjoyed every page.

I like this book

If English is your second language, it is a very useful book.

An essential guide for developing a dynamic speaking style.

Packed with self-tests, skill-building exercises and sample speeches, How To Say It With Your Voice is a splendid book/CD combination that will enable anyone who speaks on the job to do so in a clear and persuasive manner. Step-by-step, speakers will learn how to pinpoint and overcome common problems such as "sloppy" pronunciation, "rapid-fire" pace, "child-like" lilt, nasal whine, monotonous tone, and off-putting accents. They will also master the secrets to building vocal strength and variety to keep their listener's interest, and be able to speak before groups and crowds with poise and confidence. How To Say It With Your Voice is a "must" for anyone needing to develop a dynamic speaking style of power, reliance, and effectiveness.
