Important lessons

This book is an excellent example of how a person can easily be distracted when trying to accomplish certain goals. While Karrine's story may be considered an extreme; she is a mirror of the many women that have a problem distinguishing the difference between love and sex. This book is also a great read for all the juicy celebrity gossip as well!

The Lovely Karrine

My girl, Karrine Steffans. Allow me to simply warn potential readers that, no, this book does not have the blatancy, nor the name-dropping, nor the myriad of sexual trysts that were found ubiquitously throughout the infamous "Confessions of a Video Vixen." Naturally, she does mention some names, but not many at all. "The Vixen Diaries" is about Karrine's growth as an individual, her regrets after her first book was written and she goes into great detail about how ugly the industry of entertainment is. Though it is obvious that Karrine still has much growing to do, she has matured, if even just slightly. Karrine Steffans is notorious for being a woman who slept with a slew of entertainers, but believe me, that's not ALL she is, so for those of you who limit your thoughts of her to that, please get to know more about her. "The Vixen Diaries" is a great way for people to get to know Karrine's other sides. She's a very loving person. This is shown several times throughout the book. She informs us that she took care of Bobby Brown when he had no where to reside. He lived with her, drove her car and she paid his bills. Karrine does have somewhat of a dual personality and anyone who paid close attention to her could see that clearly. She doesn't hide the fact that she is spiteful and manipulative in this book. She is a damned good writer. She kept me interested from start to finish, without a dull moment in between. Karrine's confidence is worth applauding, because radio hosts, DJs and the like all try to tamper with her confidence, with much fail. I recommend this book to those who want to know Karrine the person, not Karrine's sexual escapades, for that is not the purpose of this publication. It's one of the best books I have read in some time and I am pleased that I invested in it.

Cutepanthergirl

A really good read on a rainy day. I'm happy to know that this young lady has surpassed all the negativity in her life and that she has found some inner peace. I really wanted to know more juice about Bobby Brown-but she did share what most have known for years-being associated with low-lifes will really bring you down (this is what happended to Whitney-I pray that she surpasses her demons as well). I was really surprised to learn the identity of papa-I'm still shocked at this. I always thought it was LL Cool J. In closing Karrine has developed a publising company-not bad for one of the most hated women in America. For the record, we should not hate on her-we should embrace the fact that she is a among the working class. She has made mistakes (we all have) but learning from those mistakes is truly a blessing. Yo Go Girl....

She's grown

It is not a racy as her first book, but it is worth the read. Some pages I did just scan over but I can tell she has grown. As she said in her book some of the things she has done would have been praised if she were a man. People are so quick to judge her but none of us are perfect. I was happy to see that she has realized her mistakes and moved on.
