John Farman makes history hysterical in this must-have companion volume to the best-selling THE VERY BLOODY HISTORY OF BRITAIN: THE FIRST BIT
It's the wittiest and wackiest chronicle of modern British history you'll find - ranging from post-war rationing, through the glut of the Thatcher yuppy years to the new millenium.
Great book for learning a bit of Britain's history.

I bought this book when i was in England a few years ago and loved it. The book was fun and quick moving and gave enough history to get people interested and hopefully pick up a more in depth book and learn a bit more about it. I have since lost the copy i purchased in England but i'm going to order another one so i can reread and share with some of my friends.
Great First Look!!

If you like travel or history, or both, this is a great way to get familiar with how Britain became what it is. This book very easy to read, and increadibly humorous -- which is great even for non-avid readers like myself. It makes you feel like going out and reading a whole bunch of the "boring" versions. Enjoy!
