One sitting read!

As always Kerrelyn Sparks brings you right into the story. She keeps you there until every last word has been read, and as you sit back exhausted and exhilarated, you're wondering when the next book will be out! Love it!

She did it again!

Well this highly anticipated book did not let me down at all. Kerrelyn Sparks captured my full attention with this book, as well as the other 7 in this series. I have read many different authors in the Vamp/Romance genre and I am most impressed with Kerrelyn Sparks. The story line kept me interested, the characters are my best friends, and her world captivates me every time! I give this a 5 star rating. Bring on #9, as always this book left me wanting more!!!!Great Read!

Get New Series But I Started in the Middle!

A smartly written twist up on a lot of the oh-so-serious PNR vamp romances out on the market today. This seems to be book six or seven out of the series, but it is a decent, rather charming stand alone. Once I discovered where I was and having enjoyed the book, I did an immediate turn 'round and started back with number one. This series uses a lot of clever "inventions" that allows vamps to enjoy more "human" pursuits, such as a glass or two of the "vampire fusion" drink "Bliskey". This alcoholic concoction allows vamps to become "inebriated" and allows the male lead in the book a chance to be silly and slightly tipsy. Then the male lead has to tolerate "help" from his best friend a shape-shifter, who really mixes things up. All of these adventures plus a clever female lead and a whole lot of "oh so close" silliness helps elevate this story to a fine good time. This series is recommended.

Great read!

I actually wasn't going to read this book for a while since I was busy with other things, but then I started reading the first few pages and got hooked. It took me two days to finish since I work all day, but I couldn't stop reading it when I had the chance. It was suspensful, hot, and intriguing. I think the biggest obstacle the characters faced not the evil guy that was after her, but was how Robby was going to tell her he was a vampire. He was so afraid of her reaction to it, that he could possibly lose her which he almost did.
