The Tyrant's Tomb (The Trials of Apollo, Book Four)

This is regarding the book's state, and not the writing's quality. Now, I have bought used books before, and I know what to expect. Sometimes the pages are a little yellowed, there might be some marks here and there, but maaaan. The condition that this book arrived in was rough (to say the least). The book was bloated and warped (possibly due to water damage), and there were all kinds of stains on the actual pages, sometimes making the book difficult to read. The worse offense was the way they wrapped this in plastic. Now I expect all libraries in the US put some kind of plastic wrapping to protect the hardcover, but this time they actually GLUED it to the book. The plastic was already torn and dirty, but the actual dustjacket might have been saveable. That is if they didn't freaking GLUED IT TO THE FREAKING BOOK!!! Like, there is absolutely no way to take the dustjacket or the plastic cover without damaging the endpapers further. The book was advertised as "very good", but the state it arrived in was "acceptable" at the most. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a copy be cautious.
