The Truth about Dangerous Sea Creatures

As a homeschooler I'm always on the lookout for educational, interesting and enjoyable books that we will read more than once to add to our collection. This book fits the bill for us. The pictures are close-ups of interesting and feared animals of the ocean that we will probably never see in real life. Very vibrant and captivating! Many of the pictures include divers next to the animals for size reference. The authors covered a huge assortment of sea life that either are dangerous or have rumors of being dangerous, telling exactly how dangerous these creatures actually are. Personally, I have learned a lot about animals I didn't even know existed! And, the true test, my kids (ages 6 and 5) are fascinated by this book! This is not a book we will be outgrowing anytime soon. This book was a fantastic addition to our home library. The kids love having it read as leisure reading and don't even consider it part of "school".
