This novel is the third novel in the series. Atzerodt, Surratt and the final conspiracy novels are to follow. As an author, I value the insight of my readers. After the first trial in "The Pursuit of John Wilkes Booth and the Trial of Davy Herold" in Book 2, many readers got bogged down during the trial phase of the novel.
