Ethics in Health Care

Although this is a short book(205 pages) it provides an excellent background for learning about ethics in health care. Using situational narratives, Perry takes the reader through real life situations where ethical standards have been violated resulting in disturbing consequences. At the end of the book, she provides follow-up for each case and describing the tracks left by those violating ethical standards. Perry includes practical advise for how to convene an ethics committee and how to implement ethical standards in health care organizations and professions. In short, this is a very practical book, and one that should be read by everyone desiring a career in a health related field.
