A fourteen-year-old boy finds himself transported to another dimension and unable to remember his past. This description may be from another edition of this product.
A very interesting book that opens your mind to possibilities you've never thought of. You'll never think 29th of februari just an ordinary date... "Towers of februari" is just one of the books Tonke Dragt wrote. If you like it, you'll love "the other side of the door" too: in which the main charcter opens the door of his bedroom one night to find himself in a different world. Tonke Dragt has also written a couple of quite different type of fiction-adventures on telepathy (like "eyes of tigers"). And yet another type of fiction with castles and kings, knights, secret letters, treacherous black ridders chasing, grey avengers who might not be what they appear, fools that ask the simple-difficult questions, twin princes fighting for a throne, ("Letter for the king") I grew up reading Tonke Dragt (from age 10), but I'm still rereading her books (being in my mid 30s now). They are classical.
This book will leave both children and adults astonished

A boy finds a way to go to a parallel universe. The concept has been used too often now (think of Sliders), but when this book was written it was very new and refreshing. A book everyone should have read. Entertaining for children (from age 12) and adults.
This book challenges your intellect!

Tonke Dragt's The Towers of February is one of the very few books that asks children to keep on reading, even if they don't understand immediately what the book is about. The reward is the bigger if you do, because you feel you share a secret with Tonke only a few others know about. This book challenges your intellect!
A great children book writer

Tonke Dragt is a Dutch writer, specialist of childrens books. She has written several books, and they where the most captive books I have read when I was a child. The tension is enormeously in the books, you (as a child) can not stop reading. If you ever find a book of here, read it, you wont regret it
Worthwhile reading by sixth graders and up!

The book is tough reading for its designated audience, but is worth the effort it takes to read it. The main character is a child same age as the intended audience, and the book is written in a fascinating style of a child's diary. The first entry captures interest in a nice way: February 30th.
