Luther brings crowds to Dr. Miracle's wagon for a demonstration of a magical potion that will cure Luther of swallowing a toad, in a tale in which a boy outwits a traveling medicine man." This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was going through my daughter's books, they have zillions, packing the ones away they are too old for now. You know, so they can read them to their little girls when they have them, and I came across this book. It's been a few years since I read it to them, but I remember the story well and though my girls are [quite young] and may grow out of it, they call criminals in general a Dr. Miracle, because he was the first sort of cheater they'd ever come across. And that's why I highly recommend this book to parents with very young children, it'll teach them about Dr. Miracle and they will learn, with mom and dad's help, of course, about honesty and why it's better to be like the little boy in the story and not the phony, baloney Dr. Miracle who goes from town to town selling his elixir that tastes like bad creek water.Sophie Cacique Gaul
