I "accidentally" stumbled across this book while writing a paper for one of my college classes. It was so good that I read almost the entire thing right then. This book explains EVERYTHING a parent needs to know about this positive discipline method. There is no way to fail as long as you follow the guidelines given. The book is short and to the point and can be read within a day or two. This is a must read for all parents, educators or any other professional who works with children, parents, or families.

This is an excellent book on timeout. It discusses rules, for children and parents, and procedures of using time out. It gives specific problems and solutions parents may face when trying to put their children in time out. This book also reviews how to make time out a positive experience for everybody. It goes in detail on how parents should use time out and gives other methods of discipline before using time out, such as the counting method. this book was so good I read it in one evening, highlighting and jputting in tabs where pertinant information was. Overall this book is the most comprehensive I've read and it has done wonders for my family.
