The Throws Manual

I purchased this book to learn how to coach throwers and it did not disappoint me. I leaned and am still learning a great deal from it.

"The Throws Manual", coauthored by Kevin McGill and George Dunn, Jr. covers all of the throwing events in splendid detail. It has a different section for every throwing event that covers everything from the basics to a faults and corrections of the throws. The book also contains a great section about training, which goes into great detail about the various methods of training for the throws, such as pylometrics and the Olympic lift. This book should definitely be put in every serious throwers library!
