Tattered Quilt

The Tattered Quilt is the sequel to Wanda Brunstetter's The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club. Newlyweds Emma Yoder Miller and her husband Lamar, share their love of quilting by offering another six weeks of quilting classes. At first only three people sign up, then one by one, three other unique people decide to learn the art of quilting and Emma's friendship and wisdom. Emma's new students consist of a very opinionated and lonely widow, a young Amish girl, who wants to be independent, a roofer, who wants to meet and get to know one of the new students, a man who loses a fishing bet and has to take the class, a reporter who has a secret motive to take the class, a young woman with a broken heart who is having a hart time trusting people. Special things start happening to those six people that are in the class, when Emma and Lamar open their home and hearts to these unique people. By the way, you can count on some of Emma's former students stopping by to see their favorite teacher and friend, and share how their lives are going. The Tattered Quilt is a story of forgiveness, healing, jealousy, friendship, a love triangle, and faith. It is also the touching story of how an old "tattered quilt" reunites two people with a long lost family member.
