An excellent study tool for worshippers

The Tabernacle of David is required reading in our Bible College. We find it to be readable and easy to understandd while being comprehensive enough to leave some meat with our students. Recommended if you want to learn more about this subject. Pastor Howard Cameron, author of: The Eternal Purpose of God: The Why of Who You Are

A MUST FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

This book explained many passages that were before a mystery. It not only opened understanding to the passages in the OT, but tied them with the teachings of apostles in the NT. Since reading it, I have used it as a resource for teaching and explanation. I simply love it and will read it again. My wife calls it too deep for the light reader; I would not recommend it for someone who is not willing to prove it with scripture or do due diligence.

Awesome Presentation

If you ever thought of God as just a "thing" or a object and did not see Him as being reachable, this book will change your mind and your heart and will help you know how to "locate" the Father. I was immensely impressed with the thorough reasearch the author did to pull together the thoughts and intentions of God for the salvation of His people through these scriptures. Mr. Conner presented the facts in a smooth flowing, easily understood manner with many scriptural references that simply walk you through to our present day understanding. He tied together the old and new testaments so that they became woven into one story line--God loves us and he took his time and put intelligence of thought into our redemption. When I study the Tabernacle of David I see the heart of God and the importance of worship. I come away from the tabernacle knowing that we are "more than a notion". We, the people of God are not a by-word or an after-thought. God purposely and intentionally took His time to design us and to prepare an eternal home for us. Through Mr. Conner's presentation I know just where I am in God's economy of time and these scriptures help me to visualize and give me a new excitement about my salvation, the reality of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. With the help of the information I gained from Mr. Conner's presentation, I can now share my hope of salvation with others with concrete scriptures of proof for whatever I say. Amen and Praise God.

Old Testament's Model for New Testament's Church and Worship

The most comprehensive study of this matter. Dr. Conner helps the theological student understand the foreshadow of the Church (Christ's Tabernacle) found in the Tabernacle of David. Both interpretations, the Davidic Kingdom and the Davidic Worship, are covered. The Davidic Worship topic study includes a deep scriptural and spiritual understanding of the Ark of the Covenant, Sion, the complete historical setting, the order of singers and musicians, evaluation of music based on principles, and more. Dr. Conner provides an exhaustive number of Bible scriptures for each concept studied. If you don't take things for granted, only those which have plenty of biblical substance, this is the kind of author you need to learn from.

A Comprehensive Study On A Very Much Unknown Subject.

The "Tabernacle of David" is the second in a triology. The first being "The Tabernacle of Moses" and the third "The Temple of Solomon." It would be beneficial to first obtain "The Tabernacle of Moses" to better grasp the message in this book, though it isn't necessarily impending to do so. The first thought that usually comes to mind when a reader sees the title is: I never knew there was a tabernacle of David. Many have studied and and interpreted the scriptures for years never touching on the subject of the tabernacle of David because of the lack of understanding of it. But just what is it? That is the most important question that this book remarkably and sucessfully answers . To fuller appreciate the New Testament and its message, a sure knowledge of the "Tabernacle of David" is a must. From layman to scholar, this book will serve to enlighten what forever has seemed to have been lost in scriptural understanding
