Too often gifted children along with programs are viewed as not that high of a priority, especially when it involves allocating money and funding. How fortunate I am to work in a school that has used many ideas and suggestions found in this very easy to read and to follow book. The Survival Guide for Teachers of Gifted Kids addresses the interests of people working with gifted children in all grades. This book outlines a set of strategies for a school seeking to design, build, implement, sustain and grow a gifted program from the very beginning. Step by step strategies are presented in a way that make this difficult task much more manageable. Many, many wonderful ready to use forms are provided and free to be photocopied.
