Tremendous First Effort

A moderately experimental conquest, The Surface is a tremendous first effort by Laura Mullen. She is one of the most accessibly passionate poets writing today. I would direct you specifically to Blood Oranges and The Motions, two excellent snap-shots into the absurd difficulties of love.
