The Succulent Oyster

Along with its companion Oyster Redux, this volume contains two of the six volumes of "The Oyster" series of Victorian erotic adventures supposed to have been written towards the end of the 19th Century/early 20th Century. Billed as a sequel to "The Pearl" the Oyster series is even more lighthearted and devoid of BDSM and other less appealing material. All the sex is consensual and often instigated by the randy females. The series is entertaining and humororous, though best if taken in small doses. Don't expect a story line, just plenty of lusty sex. Highly recommended as bedside reading for lovers of well-written Victorian erotica and for couples wishing to avoid the darker side of Victorian writing.
