Great Recipes from one of, if not the greatest, Corprate Retaurant chains

Worked for Stouffer's in Metro Detroit in their Kitchen and also frequently went to the "Top of the Flame" Restaurant at the top of the former Michigan Consolidated Gas building which is Architect; Yamasaki's Masterpiece, At this time Stouffer's had several "Top of the" restaurant's through out the country from the 1950s into the 1980s (I believe the restaurant goes back to the 1920's or 1930's out of Cleveland Ohio) they closed all thier restaurants in the early 1980's and concentrated on frozen food. The food was excellent and service was impeccable, it was a privillage to work here and wonderful experience, the cook book is comparable, I was very young when I worked here and never got around to getting the cookbook, it was always selling out at that time, this version was published around 1974 to'75. In the restaurant there was seasonal rotating menus, there were multiple dinning rooms with different price points, also famous for their Stouffer Girls who were always attactive, well trained, polished and professional servers who were a signature hallmark of these restaurants, they also had very large and sophisticated, state of the art kitchens and equipment, there is nothing to compare it to today, very different times! just a wonderful place to work and go to with many good memories, now, finally getting around to acquiring this great cookbook after all these years!
