The Story of Christmas

My children, ages 2 and 4, love this book! It offers a unique angle on the true Christmas story - told from the perspective of the animals who might have been there watching when the angel visited Mary, when Jesus was born, when the shepherd came to visit the Baby, etc. The text is well written and includes lots of opportunities for interaction (like patting your lap to sound like a donkey, pretending to rock Baby Jesus, answering simple questions along the way), so it really holds their attention. My kids looked forward to hearing the next story each day in the week leading up to Christmas. Highly recommended!
