Shannon's review

This book was vary great. It changed my life in a good way. This book is about a boy named Dan Storm how is a Latter Day Saint that lives in missouri. There are a lot of Mormon haters in mossouri that drive the mormons out. The little boy runs away with a slave and becomes a man how lives with native american and gets seperated from the slave. After a long time He gets merried to a indan, she gets beaten to death by this big indan from anther tribe. After his wife died he went back to missouri and that is the end of the store.

WoW!

All i can say is... what a great book! I couldn't put it down! I have recommended this book to everyone I know... sheer genius. It should go down as one of the great books in American history.

Gives insite on lives of mountin men from a boys view

This book covers a young mans life history. Why he became a mountin man and live'd with the indians, also the events that lead up to it. Its slow to start but picks up rather quickly. He finds himself in several situations that have intersting and funny conclusions. The auther has done a good job in helping you to see things differtly. Fantastic book for young readers 9 - adult. Great story to read as a family
