This is a great read, it was the first book that I brought on mushing a few years ago - lots of handy information from Training to feeding and everything inbetween.I still read it every off season before coming back into training and I pick up more each time.
good for skijoring too

Much of the info in this book applies to skijoring as well. Recommended by the skijoring book Ski Spot Run.
Excellent for a Sprint Musher

This is a great book with some great information. It talks about what makes a good dog, running the dogs, training puppies, etc. It is more geared towards sprint mushing, but a distance racer can still get some good ideas from it too.
