Dynamite Comes in Small Packages

This little cookbook is AMAZING! Every recipe I have tried is delicious and unbelievably easy. I highly recommend Italian Sausage and Peppers - hearty and just the right amount of spice. The Portabella Stroganoff was a bit expensive to make, but well worth it - my family went wild over it. For an easy dish, make the Mushroom Parmesan soup. In the Irish section, you must try Vegan Shepherd's Pie - I used homemade mashed potatoes and it was to die for. Finally, the Tangerine Tofu is exquisite. I hope Michelle Rivera writes another cookbook soon!

i heart this book

Great vegan slow cooker book! I have tried three recipes so far and they were all very tastey. The recipes often call for frozen vegatables, but I would go ahead and use fresh ones. FYI: This book is way better than the vegetarian slow cooker book.

Cute book

This book is small - a small square paperback - but packed with lots of info about tofu, beans, and spices, as well as how to chosse a slow cooker. I'd recommend this book placed inside a new slow cooker/crock pot, maybe with pot holders or a wooden spoon, as a cute housewarming, engagement, or bridal shower gift.

the only slow cooker cookbook for vegan

I have just finished making a lasagna in my slow cooker and it turned out perfect. I think this book is excellent for two reasons. First, it is unique (i.e., the only VEGAN SC cookbook out there). Second, by reading the recipes one gets an idea of how to cook other things. I have cooked a batch of breakfast miller with dried fruits in my SC and it has turned out perfect. Highly recommended!
