Salivating descriptions of food and intrigue

With three diverse narrators (the fictional female and feisty chef Carmelina, the cynical yet indomitable dwarf Leonello, and the beautiful yet kind historical mistress Giulia Farnese), readers are introduced into a deadly world of ambition. The infamous Borgias are still fairly young in this book, but our narrators give us a window into their lives, their jealousies, and their desires. You really can't go wrong with a Quinn novel, so if you're curious or historical fiction isn't your typical fare, I highly recommend this. It's super approachable, fun, and rich with history without feeling dry. Give this a try! You won't regret it.
