The Senator's Wife

I loved this book. After reading all the reviews I was vary to read the book, but decided to get it anyway because I love all of Karen Robard's books. The Senator's Wife is an excellent novel. I could not put it down. I fully recommend it.

Why do we read romance novels?!?!?! For realism or for the fantasy?!?!?!? Who cares how she dressed, or that she sold her body to the highest bidder...she wanted a better way of life for herself...maybe if her husband was a better person, then maybe she and Tom would not have been together!! Hence there would be no book to write about! I loved this book, it was the first one by Karen Robards that I have ever read. This book made me go out and buy more of her books and I can't get enough of her! I think she is a very imaginative writer and she keeps ME hooked with her outlandish stories... To any one who wants to read this book I think that it is a great read. It's just a book of fiction enjoy it.

I thought that this was definetly a wonderful book! Although I may be under age, but I am a very advanced reader. I felt that Ronnie was certainly a character to care for. She was into a affair with Tom, a political consultant, and was smart and did not mention the publicity out loud. I disagree with some of the reviews I have read. I have read over 2000 books and I feel that this one is certainly MUCH, MUCH better than any other Adult book I have ever read.

I loved this book! I really felt like I knew the characters and was happy that everything worked out well for Ronnie and Tom. I loved how it wasn't just some cheesy romance novel. It had lots of suspense, struggle, and emotion.

Karen Robards really keeps the reader guessing as to what will happen next. I look forward to reading many more of her books very soon.
