The Secret of the Martian Moons, a Science Fiction Novel

Although the Mars depicted in this book has been rendered obsolete by advancing scientific knowledge the story which depicts the value of courage and determination is timeless. I remember being appalled by the politicians in the story who chose to evacuate the colony on Mars because it had failed to provide any return on the money invested. At least this prepared me for the real life abandonment of the moon after we had spent lives and treasure to attain it. So much for those who call this escapist literature.
