The Boys Who Solved a Burglary

Do you feel like reading a mystery? Then you will want to read The Secret of Sanctuary Island. This book is about two boys who buy a new canoe. They decide to go out one night and test the new canoe. At about eight o' clock they decide to start heading home. They see two men in a canoe and the men were carrying things. Then Kevin yells out to the men. The men get into their canoe and they start chasing the boys. They catch the boys and they flip the boat. The boys get home. The cops were there and they told them the story of the two men. About a week later the two kids decide to go back out in the lake. When they were heading back again they see the two men. They try to stop them but the men get away. The boys decide to tell the cops again and the cops don't do anything. The boys go and see if they stolen from and they discover that the men had left a big clue for the boys. The boys and the two men meet up for the third time, and you will have to read the end. I liked this book because it kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put the book down until I finished the book. It had clues that would just jump out at you and you had to get them or you didn't know what was going on in the story. I also liked this book because the two boys didn't give up on trying to solve the mystery. I give them credit because they kept on going out on their canoe. They didn't stop going on the lake even though the men were out there and trying to scare them away.
