Ink-redible!

This novel is extraordinary. The art is gorgeous and serves the story perfectly. It is definitely not just background. When he flexes his artistic muscles McCloud really shows you what this medium can do. The pacing is excellent and it deserves multiple rereads. I'm pretty sure I missed things, especially because the rhythm of the book really keeps you moving through it. It is a very thick book and I read it in one sitting in one afternoon.

a transformative argument for slow living

Scott McCloud at his best, dealing with the age old question - what makes life worth living, art worth making, love worth choosing? A wonderful read.
