This is helpful book full of interesting questions to use in scrapbooking, as the title says, and also for sparking conversation with relatives or friends whose stories you'd like to hear. My husband used it with his dad during weekly phone calls for a couple of years before his father passed away. Different sections include hundreds of questions about the past, the present, and the future. A few examples: The Past When and where were you born? What is your first memory as a child? What special qualities do you remember about your mother? your father? What was your childhood home like, inside and out? Who were your best childhood friends? The Present Who are the most important people in your life right now? What is something that you wish you could do every day? Why don't you? What do you worry about every day? In what ways have you changed for the better this year? How hard was it? Have you ever been to a place that made you feel closer to heaven? The Future (questions to ask your children or grandchildren) What does your mom do all day? What do you wish she did all day? What is something that your dad always says to you? What is the funniest thing that Mom/Dad does? When you don't know how to do something, what do you do? Does your family have a favorite place to go on vacation? What about a favorite restaurant? How old do you think your mom/dad/grandma/grandpa is? How old can people get? If you'd really like to talk about important things with people who mean a lot to you, but have trouble thinking of topics or how to bring them up, this little book is very helpful.
