Fantastic Read-A-Loud

This is one of my favorite books! Each chapter reads like a short story which makes it perfect for reading out loud. The stories are outrageous, but with a truthful ring. I've recommended it to several students and other teachers to read out loud, and it's always been very well received. Every time I've read the book I've laughed out loud (and I LOVE Harold's first date).

The Schernoff Discoveries

The book, "The Schernoff Discoveries" by Gary Paulsen was very funny! It tells of Harold, a 14-year-old genius and social outcast, and his friend. Harold has an answer to every problem, from dating, to sports like skiing and fishing, to dealing with school bullies or making money. Harold finds a way to poison the entire football team, get the girls and buy a car while underage. Read on to find out more of Harold's embarassing, yet hilarious stories.

Great book by Gary Paulsen

I thought the book was funny and exciting. It also was a bookin which you read and find out what not to do END

Shernoff discoveries

I rated this book four stars not five because it skipped around too much. I mean don't spend 50 pages on one thing, just develop them more. I understand why it was short in areas because it is a childs book, but for the most part the book was funny; like when they went fishing and Harold ate worms. It was sad like that narrator's parents were drunks.I also liked that in a way it reflected Gary Paulsen's life and thats what I liked about it.

The Schernoff Discoveries BY Gary Paulsen

I feel that the book was one of my favorite books. I don't like to read but the book kept me reading no matter what was going on right next to me. The was an all around funny and entertaining book.
